Hi, my name is Shawn Chalk!
I am the tattoo artist at City on the Hill Tattoo Shop. I noticed my natural aptitude for artwork at an early age. I love working with all mediums, oil paints, water paints, acrylics, even sign painting. I’ve been able to take my passion and turn it into a profession, and although the talent came naturally to me, it’s a gift I’ve deliberately developed over the years. Since I’ve been a young kid my dream has been to be a tattoo artist. So, in 1996, when I turned 18, I began professionally tattooing and haven’t turned back! In 2014 I got saved at a small non-denominational church in Ybor City, Fl. The name City on the Hill Tattoo Shop has a great significance to me. As a family owned and operated business, our goal is to be a beacon in an industry that can be dark. We pride ourselves on our quality workmanship, original artwork, and the kindness in which we treat everyone.
